Handover Guide — Chief Minister (Executive Oversight)
Everything this role can see and do — daily workflow, the rules that matter, and answers to common questions.
Mission
Top executive oversight of the Sindh IT Facilitation Desk: a read-only, whole-of-desk view of how the government serves the IT industry — KPIs, sector hotspots, trends and AI briefings.
What you can see
- Every ticket in every department, including internal staff notes (full transparency by design)
- Executive dashboard: total/open/resolution rate/avg days/SLA/CSAT/escalations + this-week vs last-week deltas and a 6-month filing trend
- Sector hotspots (what issue areas the IT industry faces), IT company segments, issue kinds and systemic cross-company patterns
- All 8 reports (summary, SLA, aging, by handler, category, sector, escalation, CSAT) with date/department/handler filters and CSV export
- Weekly (Monday 09:00) and monthly Nigraan AI briefings in notifications, plus the on-demand briefing archive
- The full audit log (read-only)
What you cannot do
- Reply, assign, escalate, close or edit anything — every staff action is blocked (read-only role)
- Admin configuration, intake filing or the verification queue
Step-by-step workflow
- Start at the Dashboard: KPI cards, department scorecard and the Nigraan briefing card give the desk at a glance.
- Read "This week" for week-over-week filed/closed changes; the trend chart shows the 6-month filing direction.
- Sector hotspots and IT company segments show what kind of issues the industry faces and from which segments.
- Open Reports for deep dives — filter by period (today/week/month/quarter/custom), department or handler; every tab exports to CSV.
- Briefings: Monday 09:00 a weekly AI briefing lands in notifications; monthly on the 1st. Generate on demand or browse the archive from the dashboard or Briefings nav.
- Click any department in the scorecard to browse its tickets read-only; internal notes are visible for full oversight.
Business rules to remember
- Strictly read-only: the platform enforces it — action buttons never appear and write attempts are rejected (403).
- AI briefings are advisory: numbers come from real statistics, but always verify before acting.
FAQ / Troubleshooting
Why can't I act on a ticket?
Executive roles are oversight-only by design — direct the responsible department, supervisor or escalation officer instead.
Can I share a briefing?
Yes — briefings are plain text; copy from the archive page or export the underlying report as CSV.
